2000 GTX Won't Start

Bought two 2000 model GTX Seadoos last year. Got them out of the season, one started right up and the other one just clicked. (Both have new batteries). The one that was clicking and won't start, battery cables got REAL HOT, about burnt my fingers trying to unhook the battery cables. Do I have a bad starter solinoid or a bad starter?:rant:

the clicking you hear is probably the solenoid working properly but check it with a volt meter to make sure. sounds like the starter is stuck, you can tap on it with voltage to it and sometimes they free up.
