Hi Just purchased this machine and the oil is leaking out of the oil tank as fast as i pour it in ,, i checked the tank and its not coming from there , also followed the two lines from tank and they are tight on motor and not ruptured,, tried to look under the motor with a mirror but could not get far enough down to see , is there anywhere else this oil could be leaking out under the motor ex a plug or something of that nature on pump etc as that is where it seems to be coming from , any help appreciated as it is literally leaking out as fast as i pour it in , thanks

nope... the engine doesn't have any plugs in it. BUT... there could be a big hole in the side of the engine.

If it's coming out that fast... a hose has to be off, or there is major damage where you can't see.

thankyou for the reply i well buy alittle mirror today and check it out , If there is i well be pissed, as i bought these from a dealer(4 of them ) in wisconsin last week

ok got a little extendable mirror and looked it over ,, looks like it is a line totally missing the return line to the tank, one line on front , one line on passenger side of motor ,, from bottom of tank , and one line on the drivers side of motor with some water jackets above it I think it is a half inch line so i well replace and test tonight,, ,, seems the motor was rebuilt and they forgot to put that line on ,, also on the tank top i noticed there is a half inch line for return going in ,, but also a 1/4 inch or so nipple on the othere side of that tee ,, is this a vent line and should i run a line up under the cowl for it???? thanks agian

The top fitting has a connector for your rotary valve drive case return line and one for a vent. The vent should have a short piece of tubing and then a check valve. There are manuals that may help you online, parts views, operators and shop manuals. Check out sea-doo.net

thanks again you guys are great , i put the return line on no more leak ,, thank goodness, i was wondering with a water hose hooked up what should it be reving at at idle ,, it was sitting around 3 grand is this normal out of the water?
