2000 GTX Fuel Gauge Issue

First start of the season & my 2000 GTX Fuel Gauge stopped showing fuel level & just flashes Fuel Low. It has 10gal of fuel in the tank. What should I take a look at first, assuming it's an electrical issue.

Most likely the F1 fuse or the fuel float could have taken gas so it remains at the bottom and no longer floats up. Take off the glove box and access your fuel baffle. Look on Youtube, there are many instructional videos.

One of my luxuries is sending my fuel baffles to a guy on Ebay ($50 each) . I do too much stuff already to these skis and I deserve not having to mess with them. It isn't a difficult repair though and in a pinch I'd go for it.
