So reading through all the posts I've been having similar issues with my 2000 challenger.

Smoke at idle and warm re-start difficult.
I changed all my spark plugs and the dealership found a clogged cooling line.

I also went ahead and ordered a new port side temp sensor. It came in today.. I plan on replacing it this weekend.

Does anyone have any tips to replacing it.. or photos of what I'm looking for?

Much apperciated!!!

Just pulled mine out, it is on the non drivers side of motor just below the top spark plug. It will have 2 tan/black wires,a tan/blue wire and a black ground lead. 13mm bolt holds it in. Pull the bolt and the sensor pulls right out. Easy swap. Good luck!
