2 quick questions on a 1995 Sportster

Hey hope this finds everyone well and either out or getting out there on the water!

My project has been on going and I have 2 pretty basic questions;

1) What battery should be used on this boat?

2) The lanyard kill switch has been damaged and come apart. I have been holding the button with a clamp while I work on it. I see a bunch of different types of lanyards or maybe Im looking at the wrong thing? Does anyone know which one I would need to purchase OR if I could do away with this and use a traditional switch or something in its place or even just wire it together? I know the safety aspect is getting defeated but we do not really run the boat much, just kind of drive out and float around.

For your lanyard, contact [MENTION=41828]Minnetonka4me[/MENTION] as the lanyard needs to be programmed to your MPEM (or your local dealer can do it).

This is a non dess post. The threaded part breaks on them and then they are worthless.
