I just changed the oil in my new Seadoo Wake 215. What size Torx socket is needed to remove the bolt that secures the filter? Is there a tool that assists removing the black plastic oil filter cap? I used the ski during the day and waited approx one hour after removing it from the water. I had to pry the cap off the oil filter housing. Was the engine heat the problem? The manual says simply heat the oil for a few minutes. I have seen the thread for the MacGyver slide hammer tool used to assist removing the cap. Does Seadoo or anyone make a tool for this purpose?
Also does anyone know how the water temperature gauge works? Mine appears ro be stuck on 77 degree. The Colorado River is not 77 degrees. Is there anything I can check or clean?
