I am considering purchase of a 1999 seadoo GTX LTD with 72 hours. I would welcome comments from anyone about this machine and the wisdom (or foolishness) of such a purchase.

Welcome to the seadoo forum cowdvm.The 99GTX is a popular seadoo pwc. I haven't seen any bad problems other than maintenance issues that get ignored... if you take care of it it will be a awesome pwc to have fun on. Low maintenance, easy to ride and good on fuel.

I own two. It is a smoth ride, very powerful for an 1999. My only issue was to start up the engine cold. I solved it with aftermarket flame arrestors (tau setti) and fuel primer. After 135 hrs one of my GTX crankshaft gave up.
