I have a problem with my 99 GSX Ltd. that started occuring more frequently about the time I had the box replaced that houses the ignition coil. The old one was cracked and would potentially let water in when the PWC was rolled!
After riding for 20 min's or so and turning off the PWC, it won't start again right away. The ignition coil will just make a clicking sound. After leaving the machine sit for a while, or after towing (probably just the time to cool off) it starts right up again. This appears to be related to a component failing when it overheats.
Is it too obvious that the clicking sound from the ignition coil means it is the failing part?
Thanks.
