Hi All,

I’m just getting ready to drop a new motor that I rebuilt into a 1999 Sea Doo GTX 951.
The previous engine grenaded and took out the case, pistons, cylinder sleeves, etc.
I’m looking at the crankcase vents on the PTO side of the engine; there are 3 vent nipples there.
1 - for the pulse line to the carbs.
1 - for the Rave solenoid.

But there is a third nipple ther that I cannot find where it goes.

On the old engine; this nipple was not there at the hole just had a plug in it.

I checked my manual and there is no mention of this nipple..

Can anyone tell me what this fitting if for or should it just be plugged like on the old engine??

I have attached pictures of the new and old cases..

Thanks!! I checked the crankcase on Partzilla and it shows a drain plug as well. So I transferred it to the new engine!!
