1999 GTX seadoo

Hello everyone! I just had the carbs rebuilt on my 1999 gtx bombardier and it ran great last summer. Went to strat it this year the battery was dead. Changed battery but nothing would turn on. No power whatsoever! Where do I start?

Make sure the connections are on the right posts.

Don't charge the battery in the ski, you can fry the MPEM

Does your display even light up?

Take off the battery connections and clean with a wire brush and reinstall. (postive first then negative)

Test the battery at AutoZone, maybe it's time for a new battery.

I did charge the battery with it hooked up to the ski, and no display or any power at all.

check the electrical boxes for blown fuses..

If you charge the battery in the seadoo it will over load the components from the charger with the battery still attached. Chances are the fuses blew to protect the components. Always disconnect the battery when charging it from an outside source and in a well ventilated area.
