Forgive me for my lack of terminology. I know I have a bad seal that allows my crankcase? to fill with oil if it sits for an extended period of time. Seadoo dealer drained it and told me to make sure I run avery week or two or get a new motor. My question is how do I drain it myself?
Thanks

You can pull the spark [lugs and crank the engine, it will SHOOT out of the spark plugs holes.

They sell valves that you can install and turn off for long storage....

Lol yes it will! I found that out the hard way. Any info on where I can get those valves?

Most buy them from their local Home Depot type store and some auto parts stores. The important part is to get the ID the same size as the existing line. You do not want to go down in size.

There is no drain plug. The only way to get it out with out taking things appart is to shoot it out the plugs, lay something you dont like over the motor. You install the valve in the large line from the oil tank. This line feeds the cavity in the block that has the gears for the rotary valve.

Bad things will happen if you turn the valve off and it drains all the oil into the crankcase and you dont turn the valve back on when you run it
