1997 Tigershark Montego 640 Issue

My Tigershark runs perfect for 15-20 minutes then all the sudden the RPM step down a bit at WOT. So, I let off the throttle and once stopped I pull a hole shot like a beast, then once full RPM reached, it steps back down. Sometimes a good jar from a wake will make RPM's jump back up but will fall back down immediately. I'm stumped????

If it has Tempo fuel lines... its time to change them, and clean the carbs.

Thanks Doc! i will give the fuel lines and filter a look and report back soon! This Shark runs really good other than this issue.....I love it!

How do I tell if they are Tempo? Is it obviously marked "Tempo"?

It does not have tempo fuel lines. Could it be that it is running TC-W3 oil in it?

Also, I am planning to eliminate the oil injection pump. i have the kit; are there any instructions for this ski on here?

What is the pre-mix ratio? and oil type?
