Thanks guys .... just trying to keep up with the Jones's .... still on the to do list is the stereo .... painting all the handles ...and a boat wrap .. but that won't happen until fall !!!! Your restos on here inspired me . That and 2ucs redoing his boat ...man his is gonna be sweet !!!!!

Going to start painting my handles on Friday. Why are you waiting?

Handles and stereo are getting done soon just the boat wrap is waiting til fall !!!!!

Ah gotcha. What are you going with on the stereo? I'm about to do that as well.. just not sure what to put in. Are you doing a second battery to handle it?

No second battery ...only need that if you are going with an amp ... I'm going with an MB Quartz GMR- 2 did alot of research and seems to be one of the best with WiFi etc ... just putting in 2 speakers for now . . Next year add an amp and 2 more http://www.bestbuy.com/cart

Turf looks great!
Cncsignman wondering if you would be able to help me out with layouts for your boat wrap and decals I have a buddy that does the boat and car wraps and if you have the computer files needed he can just tweak them all to customize for me !!!!! Would be much appreciated ..... I can't find any existing updated wraps /decal packages for the older models anywhere to start with.

Would be GREEAAAATTLY APPRECIATED !!!!!!!

Well boys packing up and heading out to the lake to open up for the season .... will have the boat in the water in the morning for the first time since last year. Hope you all have an awesome long weekend and play safe !!!!!

Well running like a top and looking just as good to start the year !!!!! Burnt 50 litres of gas yesterday ...Lol 1463933453193.jpg1463933559442.jpg Sitting on the dock beside 2UCS . .... 2 great off season restos!!!!!!

Where did you find your cover and how is it holding up?
Poppy cover online .... trailered awesome to the lake vacuumed system keeps it nice and tight to the boat ...boom flapping at all. Everything from the stitching to the hidden ratchet assembly is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone. Kept the water off the new interior just fine through a pretty hard storm Sunday night.

Very nice restoration. I just purchased an '05 Sportster. My boat is virtually the same, but with different names and engines.

Here's a dumb question. What is the gauge that is alone in the center, just above the steering wheel base? My boat has a black cap in that spot, with no gauge.

The middle gauge is my speedo and the 2 on the sides are the rim gauges for each motor
