Looks great! I am in the middle of doing my 1996 Speedster......all the gear for it is pretty rare in Scotland! What did you use for the wet sand?

After removing all the decals ... she looked really ugly . Tried to buff it out myself ....to no avail . Took it to a friend who does gel coat repair and buffing wet sanding etc. And he made it look amazing ...he repaired all my nicks and scratches and made her look brand new again. There is still a little bit of ghosting of the decals left but it is 1000 x better than before. I have read once I have her out in the sun the uv rays will get rid or the rest of the ghosting and than next winter I will put some custom boat wrap and decals on her.

Oh.. bummer. You will love it. Just got mine put in last week. Took me less than an hour. Some people are on the fence about it, but I think it added a lot to the look of the boat. And hopefully made it a little safer to walk around as well..
Awesome! That was pretty fun I have to say. I hurried through dinner so I could run out to the garage and put mine in.. (except they cut one of my pieces wrong) ugh
Everyone recommends peeling off just a little then peeling off the rest as you place, but I found it easier to just peel the entire thing off, lay it down softly and work it from there. I think it improves the look of the inside of my boat X 100

Really love the carbon fiber wrap you did on your boat .......SWEEEEET !!!!! She's looking awesome .... holy crappy does this hydro turf stink up my truck ....woooooo
I was panicking at first, I assumed there would be some sort of a "layout map" as to where the pieces all went. But it wasn't too hard to figure out. Make sure you put them in the right spot! lol

Thanks guys .... just trying to keep up with the Jones's .... still on the to do list is the stereo .... painting all the handles ...and a boat wrap .. but that won't happen until fall !!!! Your restos on here inspired me . That and 2ucs redoing his boat ...man his is gonna be sweet !!!!!
