Hello,
I am pretty new to this forum, although I have had a membership for quite some time now for reference back in the day. Great place!
I have a 1997 Seadoo GTX, with the 787 motor. I am also replacing the fuel lines as everyone recommends. I am also debating on changing the head gaskets. The motor has almost 300 hours on it. I have completely taken everything out of the haul to clean it because it was horrible in there (see pictures). I will keep everyone posted on the progress of this project, but I have one question for now.
If you look at my pictures you will see one of the footwell. I was lazy and sprayed some sticky gasket maker back about a year ago, in an attempt to fill the rivet holes. Long story short, it didn't work. How would you recommend scrubing that stuff off? Is there a chemical? It won't come off easily.
Thanks! And I will keep everyone posted. Any tips would be appreciated as well
