I am just going to put this out there for fastboatman. The challenger 1800 has two engines and you are asking for a rope box cover that the challenger doesn't have.

yea I just told him that. and Yuondaground I was headed to the post office saturday to ship your stuff and I got there and they closed like 15 before hand. I was so pissed. I will get it out tomorrow

Hey everyone! I know it sounded like I just didn't understand about the hatch, but you mighta guessed that I'm kinda desperate. LOL! I researched the parts diagrams for the 1997 Challenger and it showed a rope hatch, so I guess I thought I knew what I was talking about. Egg is on my face. LOL! :banghead:

So now I am wondering if the throttle cables are the correct ones for my Speedster? Anyone?

fastboatman29212 i saw one of those hatches on ebay its like 115 plus shipping if you are desperate enough maybe that's worth buying.
those cables maybe work, but I dont know

The long block of the motor was sold so i got a pair of carbs, intake, flywheel, stator housing, and stator.

The long block motor has a price reduction. I will take 500 shipped or any reasonable offers because one piston has scoring. The rings are still free and in the picture proves that it still has good even compression on both cylinders.

If you can check the part numbers stamped on your throttle cables, I might be able to use them.
These are the part numbers I need. The first 2 in the set are the older part numbers, the last 2 are the newer part numbers for the same part. I'd be amazed if they are the same part number, but thanks for checking.

204390065 Left hand cable
204390066 Right hand cable

**EDIT: Looks like your Challenger cables are 204390091 (LH) and 204390032 (RH). Only check the numbers if you really want to - Cause I've been wrong before! LOL!

what about oil tank, what ya got that going for?

heat sensor from top of the motor?

starter button?

what about the cooler door hinges?

A few things I could use. Plus a small list of what you have left might get things sold quicker. Might jog some memories!:thumbsup:
