1997 gtx speedometer erratic

Hi guy's
I have a 1997 gtx that the speedometer works sometimes at mid to high speed. I have checked the connection and they are clean and free of corrosion. the wheel seem verry loos on the shaft. anyone else ever havee this problem

I would spray some silicone spray on the little external wheel.
