1997 GTX Low Fuel Flashing

I have 1997 GTX and the low fuel warning continues to flash. Is this a difficult problem to fix? The dealership wants over $500 to repair. I was thinking it could be a sending unit. If so, is this hard to change?

Add more fuel....j/k, come on, couldn't pass that up. Just akward position fishing out baffle/sending unit. Click on "PARTS" top of page and plug your boat year/model, shows a cool diagram of part/s. Not difficult, little time thou
