I depserately need some help with this ski before I use the match for a pretty fireworks display, LOL. After working forever on the motor last year, bought a new SBT motor over the winter. Got it put in, runs and starts up fine. When throttling, will start good then bogs down like starving for fuel. The carbs have been completely redone, filters in them brand new, new diaphram, new line, and even put a filter in line. Thought was too small of a filter, so went with a bigger one, same problem. Then straight line with no filter, same problem. I noticed if I turn petcock to reserve, will get up to top speed a little while, then will just die like running out of fuel, and then takes forever to start. Also after riding a while, a little difficult to start. Not sure what to diagnose next, besides my head.

Check the fuel tank vent tube. It might be blocked. If you run it again and it does it, open the fuel cap and see if it has a large vacuum inside the tank...from a poor vent. I would also be sure the fuel is getting through the fuel selector and it's not plugged also.

Thank you, I will try that. I know where the selector is at and all that, not sure about the vent tube for the tank, will have to try to trace all the lines and see which is the vent tube. Thanks for the help, will look into that.

Hey KustomKarl, quick question, I live over an hour from a lake I can test this ski at, is there some other test or quick check I can do to see which it is and test it, before driving clear to the lake.
