He's referring to the switched signal wire from the DESS post, they were just inserted from the topside of the board and soldered on the backside, his was pretty much missed by the solder joint from the manufacturer and it caused intermittent operation.
Good job finding and fixing that [MENTION=71095]Danosll[/MENTION] I've been into a bunch of these since last season and they really aren't that hard to repair with the right tools and some patience.
Lots of patience and luck hitting the nail on the head the first try. I have pulling my hair out since I bought the boat. And I pulled and tugged on ever wire. Tapped every relayr. Even tried strong magnets on them. But I always had signal to the wire right up to potting material. So I just contued starting from opposite side.and the potting material came off easily on back side. I really should have mad hole bigger to inspect all the other wires.. You and I spoke about my issue in depth via pm last year.
