Hey Everyone!
On my 1996 seadoo spx 717. With everything hooked up properly. When you push the start/stop. Nothing happens. When diving in farther. I tested the start stop button. With the switch open I got a open circuit on my ohm meter and 0.1/0.2 when the switch is depressed. Which means it’s good I believe. The tether kill
Cord. Cap on I got 0.4 ohms and when off a open circuit.
I changed the starter solenoid. From what I read online and YouTube haha. Which every thing hooked up if you cross the positive terminals and it cranks it means the solenoid is garbage. We’ll with the new one it does the same thing.
Seems to me I don’t have ignition power at all. All the fuses in the mpem are fine. I have tested power going in but I can’t find power coming out of the mpem on the yellow with red to the start stop switch or when the start stop is pressed I don’t have power coming out of the mpem yellow and red wire to the solenoid.
Seems to me the mpem module is pooched! Am I wrong anyone have any insight on this ??
Thank you
