Speedsters are small boats as we all know. Only downfall for me is the lack of storage. The dry storage at steering wheel is basically gonna be necessities; fire extinguisher, tools, plugs, first aid, paperwork, etc. I have built a simple storage shelf over the motors (factory ones are crazy hard to come by) which could pretty much cover towels, bags, snacks and those things (hopefully the motors are finally right and that thing can stay in there haha.) Floor storage covers ur vests, toys, paddle etc. Now, there seems to be more space under the dry storage at steering wheel and some empty space under bow seat. Has anyone tapped into this storage potential? I was thinking maybe a built in cooler under the bow seat. I don't think that would be too hard to pull off just wondering if anyone has made it happen. Under the storage at steering wheel could be great space if u could mount an access door, however, that area is curved and I think it would be tough to do. Somebody throw up some pics of ur custom work or at least throw out some ideas to maximize storage potential.

I'm gonna get the measurements and contact http://www.universalplastics.com/plastic-trays/ about the cost of a tray to sit down inside of bow seat. The more u order the cheaper they are. If I were to do a picture tutorial on the measurements of cutting out the lid and applying the hinges/handle would anyone be interested in ordering the tray itself? After its cut the seat would mount back on top of the lid and hide the cooler. Can drill a drain hole and plug while in use, so at end of day it can be drained back to bilge n out of boat.
