1996 seadoo speedster no beeps after changing batteries

Can anyone one help I changed batteries to new and now get no beeps
Checked all fuses
Can the dess switch be bad it worked fine before the batteries died ?
Moved the shifter but unsure if the shifter neutral switch is bad should I a least get one beep ?

is the battery charged? are all of the cables back on and very tight? on the right terminals?

I am assuming that the boat doesn't start, but if it does these buzzers have a limited life. when mine failed it worked one day and not the next. The computers on these are sensitive and can fry easily if you are unlucky. hopefully its not anything serious
