1996 seadoo gtx crank seal

I have a 96gtx 787 that has a bad crank seal,the motor only has 40hrs on it do i need to rebuild entire engine or can i pull bottom end apart and just replace the seal without too much hassle

if all is good in there, replace the seal.

does the crank need torn apart or is it fairly easy like a dirt bike engine
