i HAVE 96 SEA DOO XP (787) AND IT IDLES FINE BUT WHEN I GO TO FULL SPEED IT BOGS. IT TOPS OUT THEN BOGS BACK AND FORTH, IT SEEMS LIKE IT WANTS TO GO FULL SPEED AT ALL TIMES BUT IT BOGS ONLY AT FULL THROTTLE. wHAT CAN FIX THIS?

Maintenance....

How much maintenance do you do on it? Have the RAVE valves been cleaned recently? What about your fuel system? What color fuel lines do you have.
There are several threads with procedures to the maintenance for the 787, scattered in the forum.

Is the engine actually bogging down, low rpms, or your speed is bogging down? As in high rpms with no speed.

I did not take it out last year. It sat in garage. There was some fuel still in it and i sifined it out. Had regular tune up 1 1/2 year ago. It hits top speed with high rpm then drops then comes back and forth if I hold the throttle wide open.

I had the same issue with my 96xp a few weeks ago. First problem was that I had to replace the RAVE as when it came out of maintenance the forgot to put the main spring in the unit. I did replace the spring first and then saw that the valve was leaking. Once the RAVE was replaced then the ski would bog down at 40 mph. If I switched the fuel selector to "reserve" the ski would hit 55 mph. I am in the process of replacing the gray fuel lines and will clean out the in-line filter. Hopefully this will fix my problems as well as yours

Simple things can make alot of differance.

Spark plugs and compression check always a good place to start, grey fuel lines if not bad will be bad change them!
