Thanks for the kind words Scott I sure appreciate that, no doubt you're feeling a whole lot better about that boat now with the problem remedied. Any more progress on cleaning up the electrical system, I'd like to see that disconnect switch when it's all done and wired in.

Here's the pics. Isolation switch works great! Switch was only $11.00. Also it has a key to flip on or off & it's even removable with a protective cap. Now when switch is turned off, I can put a charge on my battery without toasting the MPEM's. Thanks to waterluvr again! This guy is genius!!

Genius? Negative lol, more like a guy from OMC walked in my office/shop building at our docks in 1978 and signed me up as a small outboard dealer to get me started in the business and all these years later, after all the tech schools and certifications and a whole bunch of hard work with most of the top brands in the business you learn a thing or two about what works and how to take care of people.

That switch is just a cost cutting measure many manufacturer's left out of their watercraft to save a buck, probably the best $11.00 dollars you'll ever spend on the boat and I really like where you mounted it that's perfect.

So what's left, pump rebuild and some wash and wax time and your in business for the year huh?

I just got boat cleaned up today. Wanted to show Waterluvr the boat he got to run from having MPEM's wired wrong. Every time I see my boat now, I thank Waterluvr for taking his time with me to get my motors running... THANK YOU AGAIN WATERLUVR!!

That is a very nice boat, I bet you are enjoying the heck out of it (or soon will be!) I know what you mean about Waterluvr, he's been a big help in getting my 96 GTi going. we both need to like have a sticker on our boats or something giving props to him LOL

Yes! I agree on a sticker about waterluver... There's just not too many good people left in the world that will go out of there way to help people. I'm glad to hear you got your '96 going also! Thank you for the compliment on my boat :)

Man you went all out finishing that up, it doesn't even look like the same boat you started out with that is really outstanding work Scott!

Good job, proud of you for sticking with it and getting it that far I hope you and the family have a safe and enjoyable boating season with it this year.

Thank you so much for the compliment. I have a lot of elbow grease in that boat but almost done with it completely. I'm having both impeller wear rings replaced & one impeller needs rebuilt. The shaft, bearing, seals were bad; just on one side, but after that, I'm ready to motor down on the lake!
