Ive had this Jetski for many years now and it’s done fine until i rode over someone’s random pull rope and it killed the engine almost immediately, had to be towed back. Fast forward, got everything fixed (i thought) that broke from this and now it won’t start. checked compression and it was 60 so i opened the engine and broke the piston rings, and Im unable to find anyone or anyplace selling the 82mm dia rings.

Second, there’s no oil coming from the oil injection system now. help please

What else is damaged?

You don't just get to 60 psi compression without something being major wrong.

The gaskets and o-rings had a hole in the side from being installed incorrectly or wrong product. I have a new rebuild kit but both sets of piston rings were wrong so i cannot recheck compression.

Update: Just purchased two sets of piston rings that are hopefully correct, will receive in 3 days and update after installation. I know i should replace the pistons too just because i’m here with it open but i’m feeling…discouraged.

Replaced the piston rings and compression is down from oem but higher than the last sets and is now 92 psi. now there’s a bad-new engine gasket leak. i should be able to fix that by replacing it again. What kind of oil should i use? right now it has tw-3 or something like that

Seriously, what is broken?

You can’t just slap new rings in. What broke the old ones?

It’s not going to run at 92 psi.

TW-3 is not the right oil....you need an oil with the API standard.
