1996 gsx will only idle

hello all ,i have a 1996 gsx 787 engine that will idle like a new ski .as soon as i try to throttle up it bogs badly.had it out last weekend ran good had some hesitation to it so i swithed to res ran good for awhile then shut down .got on the good old computer seen all this stuff about grey fuel lines ,so i went got all new black changed all of then plus filters ,plus plugs.starts right up but still will only idle ,compression was 140 in both cyl .so what you think redo carbs .

I have a 96 GSX that was doing the same thing. It was the fuel selector valve that was messed up. There is a rubber thing inside that was all chewed up. I bipassed it for now and the ski runs great again. You can order a new one for like 25 bucks...

thanks skipper,took carbs apart there were a couple gaskets in them that were a little messed up so i replaced them an cleaned them out two fuel filters inside carb put back together started right up and then i gave it some gas an she reved right up so getting ready to go test on the water see what happens .but i did order a new fuel selector switch .hope its fixed.

1996 seadoo spx

i have a 1996 seadoo that starts and runs everytime but after 20 mins it only has half throttle. if i shut it off for 5min or so it will run correctly for 15-20 mins

i have put new plugs,adjusted carb,checked compression,new fuel filter,adjusted vts
took it to shop several times they cant find anything wrong with it.

any ideas?

i would clean carb filters out ,made a lot of difference in mine ,that and cleaning out the fuel tank.
