1996 challenger suddenly stops running

So I put the boat in the water the other day 2 beeps and started just fine. Start going and there is a vibration and not much acceleration, piece of wood in one of the impellers(lots of debris in the lake right now). The wood clears out after a couple of seconds but with a bit of a thud. Both engines shut down immediately. Back into neutral and throttles are down remove DESS key and put back on. No beeps, hit the start buttons and engines turn over but wont start. go over all the fuses, found one burned and replace, still not beeps turns over but wont start. Anyone know if there is a safety shutdown on this boat?
