Yea ...it rained here all day too...we call it "FAY" that dopy Tropical Storm... I'd rather be boating than sitting watching it rain...

You fist post i fig would be the starter because i to have a rebuilt sbt motor that wouldnt crank sometimes with spark plugs in did a meter test to check and it was starter.

Also new engine maybe your running rich because of the oil in the gas? While breaking mine in i went through 6 sets of plugs.
