I bought my wife a sportster awhile back. it has always had trouble getting up on plane. I dont know if the impeller was changed. I would like to replace ware ring and impeller to stock or if any one has some great performance tip for me i would love to hear them. i dont know what the stock size is . The motor is a 657. Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to the Forums. Here is a link to Solas (impeller manufacturer) that lists the recommended size.
You do not list your boat, but your engine size indicates either a 13/18 or 14/19

According to the parts diagram it's part no. 271000454 which is a 10-22.

That is a big difference between the Solas recommended and stock impeller.

Are the impeller pitches even comparable between manufacturers? I mean are Solas 10/22 same as Seadoo 10/22?

I guess I was doing better then: I bought the brand new Jeep for my wife. Then told her this 4x4 should tow something, otherwise it is a waste. Then I showed her the picture: see the seadoo trailer, looks news, and By the way the boat comes with the trailer!
