K, bought a 1995 speedster657x twin. Has mpem conversion kit. (Two mpem's)
When starting port the starter only cranks for 3 very specific times then stops on its own. I then hit the start button again no thing. No click even. Press it a second time and 3 cranks, stop! Every time, but th as just the beginning.
So engine starts. Good rpms. port 3500, starboard 3500rpm. Warm it up. Good.
Throttle up for a few seconds port dies. Starboard mint runs perfect.
Now port can't fire up. No click on starter, no thing. Unplug 5amp. Fuse on port mpem and put it back. Some times first try but not often I hear the starter solenoid click. Hit port start botton and back to square one...
Port repeats itself exactly every attempt to run it.
New battery and rectifieron order. May send in mpem's to seedoosource.com for diagnosis or new one?
Any suggestions?
