1994 gtx wont turn over

ski was running fine fuel lines were cracking and fuel sender was bad so pulled tank replaced sender and fuel line battery was old so put in a new gell cell went to start and check work but would not turn over fuel gauge now works when hit start switch but wont turn over i double checked all wire connections i was around all ok checked kill switch start switch with meter both ok checked solenoid found a - reading went hit start switch at white /black tracer on solenoid dont thinh thats right byt not sure i jumped solenoid and it turns over any help would be great or a wireing diagram would also help thanks for any thoughts

Having same problem. Jump the the starter and she spins great, put a new 5 amp in and it blows immed! My guess is selanoid. afraid to try anything in fear of blowing something up. Ran great prior.

Disconnect the red and yellow wires from rectifier. If the fuse still pops, then your mpem needs attention. All Things Custom, on this site...
