1990 sp 581 how remove oetiker clamp to replace needle bearing

trying to replace the needle bearing on this thing and there are two clamps that are oetiker clamps i think. 1st question-- do we have to take the impeller housing of the back and slide the shaft and all out the back (providing how to get the 2 oetiker clamp that holds the boot on) second question--- if this is not the case how do u replace the needle bearing and can i reuse the boot and use tie straps to hold boot back in place. I bought the premium for this sight and cant find a repair manual for this 1990 sp 581 please help me and where can i find the repair manual on this site.

Hey P. Look in the Manuals section and there is a manual for all seadoo's up to 1991. http://www.seadooforum.com/showthread.php?t=721

You will have to take the jet pump off and remove the impeller to get to the bearings. You will need a vise and an impeller removal tool.
