Hello, I have an 08' 155 GTI that after it's warm (1-2hour) if I let off the throttle all the way it dies. Runs great (long as I keep the throttle depressed), cold starts great.
I've replaced the Idle bypass valve (off brand), injectors (OEM), plugs (OEM), fuel tank check valves (OEM), fuel lines, both fuel filters (1 inside sleeve, 1 bottom of pump housing), jet pump housing, impeller, wear ring, speedometer.
I had a "blow out" of sand from the rear check valve of the air intake box. I scoped throttle body into the spark arrestor and see 0 sand particles, I cleaned the hose going from Exhaust/gas recirculation valve up to intake. Only the rear of the air box has sand debris, the front of the air box when scoped has 0 sand particles. I haven't made another test run since I noticed the sand particle blow out.
