E enut Member Jul 16, 2012 #2 I had the same issue with my fuel gauge, I am not sure though if your boat has the same gauge though, since I have the Challenger 1800 (1998). What I did was using a nutdriver, I loosened and then re-tightened the nut on the back of the gauge, this fixed my problem.
