I can't seem to figure how to do the usual tie down. I have 2 brackets at the end of the bunks and I would usually have one hook in each eye and a strap goes thru the middle eye at the back of the seat. This is how I do my 00 RX. In the XP, there isn't a loop at the back of the seat and I have 2 buckles at the stern area. Any ideas would be welcome. TIA.

Are there loops at the stern? as you can notice in this picture beside the reboarding ladder?

You get 2 tie-down straps and loop one each through each...? I'm not sure I understand the issue.

Here is how you had it before, right?

What I do is this:

Put one hook in the loop at the end of the bunk and feed the tie down through both both eyes in the stern and the other end of the tie down (the one that cranks) hooks through the loop behind the other bunk. I only use one tie down to do this. I can post a pic if that doesn't make sense.

Mine is like your first pic. My wife rides the RX so she does it like you do in the 2nd pic.

No need for the pic. What you have said just made sense. I was just being too obtuse to see that there was a simple solution. Sometimes we like to make things harder than they have to be. Thanx for your suggestion. Taking the strap out didn't occur to me. :hurray:Sometimes being too focused isn't a good thing.
