Hello again. I got my Utopia back together and have been in the water twice now testing and diagnosing. Some background. Boat sat for 2 years, full of stabilized fuel. I replaced the fuel/water separator so far, will probably do plugs next. 133 hrs on boat. When I apply throttle it seems it’s starving for fuel. I’m going to pull the pump and check all the lines and such for restrictions. Should I drain the old fuel? I broke the throttle lever (has been plastic welded) so have to locate one of those before I can continue. I believe it’s made by Uflex. See attached video:

Well.... with the opti... it could be a bunch of things. Not to mention... when that computer sees something it doesn't like... it will put the engine into limp mode. (is the warning light on?)

SO... you need to start with checking fuel and air pressure of the system.

Also... newer fuels can separate... even with stabilizer. Since it sat for 2 years... I would also drain the fuel tank ad give it some fresh fuel to drink.

No warning light. The warning buzzer does work as I got it to buzz the hot buzzer on the hose. I’ll drain the fuel and get some fresh stuff and will find out how to check air pressure. Thanks Dr!

There's actually 2 buzzers in that boat. One mounted in the helm fiberglass, and one in the wiring harness. The one mounted in the helm has a tendency of going bad.

I drained all the old fuel, pumped it with it’s own fuel pump, rinsed the pump and the attached inline filter with carb cleaner, changed all the plugs, and inspected just one injector (screens were clean). Got out on the water tonight and she is back in action! Thanks for all the help. Dr. Honda, you are an awesome resource to this forum. Your knowledge, prompt responses, and temperament make this forum great. I’ve been going back over old threads and learning so much from your posts. I doubt there is anything in it for you at all, but know that you are really appreciated!
