I just did a top end rebuilt on my 97 challenger 1800 starboard engine. Rus great, but once I turn it off in the water and try to start back on, it is hard to start got to hold trottle wide open and shoke to get the engine going. I need help. Thanks Johnny

Thanks Bills86e, I was able to take one Rave valve, the other one is behind the exhaust manifold. I will try removing exhaust manifold today. Thanks. Is it possible that it may be just water damage that might it leak from a bad gasket?

Thanks Conz00, I flushed the system back in august after my trip to salt water, I just started getting ready for the spring. The boat stays inside the garage. I will try pushing down the pistons with hammer again.
