Sound like the module for the vts motor is craped out. Pretty common problem on with vts. Today we wrench has a great video of changing it out with a different module that is a lot cheaper than an oem Seadoo one witch you can only find new.

There a pain to line up sometime you have to lossen the bottom exhaust up there’s 2 bolts that hold it in place. Jsut put some new copper sealant on the copper gasket

The jet pump will rattle wile not in the water completely normal. The 2cycle oil in the hule is probly from ether from the oil injection lines geting old and cracking it the gromit on the bottom of the oil tank. You Need to find it tho. Because if it’s the lines then you could starve your motor...

Check the plug going into the stator. That’s where the MPEM gets its ground. Unplug it and plug it back in

But if you get an aftermarket MPEM do not require a programmed key. But there not a reliable ad oem but if you do get a aftermarket get the jet ski plus brand those are the only ones that’s seem to have ok reviews

If you get an oem one you will have to get a key programmed. Some time you can find one with a key on eBay for pretty cheap

Crank it 99% junk but you could crank it over but if you are planning on rebuilding the motor then I would not spin it over. If it blows and you don’t care then have at it 🤷‍♂️

Yeah make spire your getting power to the MPEM through the 5 am fuse when it doesn’t start if you do then I would say it’s a MPEM problem
