Luckily I still have the old spring, I'll put it back and order the needle and seat as well.

I didn't replace the needle and seat, the rebuild kit didn't come with those parts. I did replace the spring. I just went out today and purchased the stuff to make the tester so I can check pop-off and leak down. I'll do that next.

Are there not two check valves that run off of a line coming from the pickup? The line runs from the top of the pickup up toward the front portion of the ski and then tees off. See #33 & #35 below.

Looking at a parts diagram it shows pump with a filter below (#22) is this incorrect? Also, where would the strainer be located just so I'm looking at the same part you're describing? Thanks

I'll have to look into those. I did check the strainer/filter under the seat and it was clean if that's what you're referring to. I'm might also pull the fuel pump and check the filter there.
