1998 GSX starter

First the starter would only turn over for a second and quit. Sometimes it will turn over for a few seconds before it quit. Now the motor wont turn over at all and I can hear the starter spinning. I'm thinkin its maybe the bendix?

sounds like that may be your problem, but check all of your connections first and make sure you have no corrosion issues, check that main hot and main ground, starter hot. If all connections check out good I would suspect the bendix. But also make sure your battery is fully charged, if the starter sounds to be spinning very fast as it should then check that bendix.

I'm going to try to remove the starter. Any tips on removing it? What size bolts/ how many are holding it on?

Ive had starter probs it should just be 2 allens kinda hard to get to the bottom one but a 5 min job
