I read quite a bit about the fuel lines on the older jet skis should be replaced. Does this qualify per my picture?7E380669-F892-49FE-83DC-17755B7D1667.jpeg

I replaced all the lines except all the lines in and around the carb. Can I use the same fuel line or do I need a different type of line here? Attached is the line I used back to the carbs for in and return.

Don't replace the pulse line. It's not affected and is formed to fit properly.

Yes, it's the line that goes from the crankcase to your fuel pump. The nipple on the carb is labeled "pulse". I have seen the green goo on the pulse line before, and prefer to replace it. IMG_20190416_140755925.jpg

So have I with the green goo. I've seen some brittle pulse lines as well but I keep them if they are in good condition. I want all the fuel pumpin I can get. :)

The routing on the 720’s is a gentle enough curve that you should be fine without the “formed” factory pulse line. I had the green goo on some of my pulse lines as well, so I swap them.

The green stuff is from the brass fitting and does not affect the hose. Whenever brass or copper corrodes, it turns green. There is no purpose to replace the pulse line, gas does not flow through it. The dark brown crap in the fuel lines is a different story and is from the gas that is breaking down the inner liner.

I understand, but it's not the green goo that's the problem, it's the brown goo inside the hose.

There seems to be some sort of difference in regards the factory formed pulse line and replacing with new regular fuel line. Does a non formed pulse line cause any issues or performance issues?

I have never had an issue replacing the pulse lines before, but Chester knows his sh*t, so I won't replace them in the future if they aren't damaged.
