Feedback on my 3place trailer please

This seems pretty sketch to me. I would find a different setup, take it from me. I built one of these myself, here is the picture.

I am only carrying a JS550, which im going to guess probably weighs in somewhere around ~300 lbs with fuel. (Just guessing from carrying it a few times by hand on and off trailer).

I trailer with an 02 GMC Envoy with a Heavy duty rear suspension and nice big 4 disc breaks and with the two two seaters and the the JS550 on the back stopping gets to be a concern especially in the hilly terrain in the Ozarks I usually drive through. I would def do some test driving around with it and get used to the braking if you are going to go ahead and go with it, but my ski sits way back further than yours and when it is on the trailer and i take the trailer off I cant lift the tounge by myself, well maybe I can but I would guess it weighs probably about ~3 bills of tounge weight.

Be careful is all I am saying, I would feel alot more comfortable if you had the ski turned perpendicular to the others to scoot it back further.

EDIT: Also make sure if you are standing around the front of the trailer with the jack on it dont put your feet under the rails, that jack could snap in a jiffy and smash your foot to pieces, I have done this when the jack wasnt locked in right,

this is how I did mine, those ugly wheels have been replaced.
with all the skis full of fuel, tongue weight is 300lbs.pulls straight n stable, whether hooked to my truck,or towed behind the 5th wheel.

Well I made it the 4 hour drive but less 1 ski .... Played it safe , I know this will work good but have more work to do first ,THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT FEEDBACK

Yes but at least you have a longer trailer with dual axles....was it a boat trailer at one time?

A second axle will save the day I'm thinking.

It will help with the over-all GVW as well as the tongue weight..

yes it was a boat trailer,,i'll let u guys in on a cool little secret.check out craigslist, type in free boat, most of them come with a TRAILER!
sure,u have to drag the boat off to the dump,(cost me 32buks to get rid of the boat),but I have 300 buks, including rims, tires n lights in a triple ski trailer.im currently building a 4 ski trailer,72 buks in it so far.i'll post piks when its done.

I'd shorten that trailer tongue up by a looongggg ways. There's no reason to have 5-6 feet (from the pic) between the back of your Yukon/Tahoe and the pump and hull of that little XP, which is easily about half the width of the tow vehicle.

Think of a pair of LP tanks on a travel trailer. They are about 3 feet wide with a cover. Smallish travel trailers have a fairly short tongue. I'm looking at mine right now, and there is a maximum of 12"(inches) from the tanks to the receiver. Maybe 30" to the trailer itself, which is about 7' wide.

You would have to be just about hammered drunk to have interference. And even then you'll hit the side of the ski, worst case. Like if you we're backing your SeaDoos down an icy boat ramp in December and started to lose it. And then come to your senses, and say.. Wait.. it's really cold out and icy. I shouldn't go out on a SeaDoo today. I think I'm hypothermic,,, aw crap. I woke up in the hospital.

I'd scoot that trailer closer. Did you test it at stock length first?

I'm not trying to bust you up, don't get me wrong. I'm sure the mods took hours, and a number of cold libations. But I'd go backwards and start again. Like was said before, with the amount of weight, and the length of the tongue you're dealing with... Without proper bracing, it looks a little sketchy to me, even if you doubled the axle. Which realistically won't increase tongue weight capacity at all, just overall capacity.

My .002c, though. There's always a number of ways to skin a cat. Which is gross.

Must be a trick in making tight right hand turns from a 2 lane road onto another 2 lane rd. :)
