can someone post a engine schematic of a 787 motor carbed labeling the parts that would fail and cause the oil to fill in the crankcase? is it a bearing, seal, o-rings, ? When/if i open up this engine i would like to know which parts i should be looking at.

Thanks.

it is in the counterbalance shaft? or crankshaft assembly

Get a rebuilt crank shaft and change seal and bearings on rotary valve shaft
I am doing the same on a RFI 787
Ski would run like one second as the plugs were oiling up

go onto Shopsbt.com

You’ll need a crankshaft (295 but you send your crank in first )
Gasket kit
Crank seals
Oversize pistons ( if your doing a full overhaul )

I rebuilt my own balance shaft with new bearings and seals at around $20 but if you haven’t got a press get and engineering place near you do it or SBT have
I rebuilt the rotary valve shaft with a new seal and bearing for around d $15

just ordered seals for rave valves at $40 from SBT
Then two spark plugs
