Hi All,
Hope you can help, fuel injected 2003 M2 240HP second generation on an Islandia.
I have read through the forum posts here, I see others have had this issue but I don’t see a resolution.
Starts great cold, run great through all ranges. Pulling a tube running her hard, shut down the motor after letting it idle a couple seconds and it does not start.
Stranded for a while - still no start. 30 min later starts right up like nothing was wrong? I was told maybe vapour lock - swapped out the gas with definitely no ethanol in it- same issue. Port, Star board and intake temperature sensor all brand new. I have mercury vessel view installed - no errors codes are thrown.
After getting frustrated, opened up the butterfly valve while my buddy cranked the motor over- not even half a second and it fired right up?
Do I need to adjust the throttle body butterfly valve?
Really appreciate any help. Thanks!
