Lcd screen repair

Did an LCD a repair on an info center and the only film i had was for a galaxy note.

It worked but the problem was the sticky side is on the wrong side. As in sticky side down would make the image be a negative!
So I stuck it on the face of the gauge from the inside and that worked lol .

But which films do we know of that are sticky on one wide or the other? Or which phone brand replacement film would work better with the lcds we have.?
I've seen a post about an iphone film that works but not sure if they are all alike.

Someone was offering a repair kit complete with instructions at one time, if I recall.

Yeah I think it was like $50 for a $4 film and 4 pages of instructions.

I can say the note lcd polarising film doesn't work. Well does but is backwards.

Backwards works especially at less than $50. Gottsta get the correct polarity on the old flux capacitor, forward into the past!
