Then you need to find out why your start stop switch and possible MPEM are not sending power to close the solenoid.
 
So if you are able to jump across the solenoid this does not necessarily indicate a bad solenoid? Not that the video is gospel, but I thought the point of jumping across was to diagnose if solenoid was bad. No jumping across means solenoid good, jumping across means solenoid bad. Did I misunderstand??
 
Jumping across only tells you if the battery , cables and starter are good. It doesn’t test the functionality of the solenoid.

If it doesn’t click when you push the start button then the solenoid or something else in the start/stop circuit isn’t working.
