Let me get all the good info out of the way.
I just purchased this boat and was instantly informed the Port side engine has no spark and the previous owner had already replaced the MPEM module and supposedly had both motors pulled and new magnetos installed.
Decided to bring it home and Starboard engine instantly fired off and just as PO described, no spark on Port side. with the little knowledge of these boats i have i tested the ignition coil in the little box and the white wire was not getting power pulsed when cranking (using test light) I did check other engine to make sure i was doing test correct and it did pulse the light.
My main issue is finding the correct way to test everything. I cannot find a wiring diagram anywhere online nor a service manual. PO said the shop he had look at it said most likely a grounding issue. where are all the grounds located? how many should come to the battery ground.
