    SBT snap rings instead of circlips on a 951?

    Ordered up wrist pin bearings and circlips from SBT to do the top end on my 98 XP 951 and they sent four inner snap rings that match the ciclip diameter. I have never seen snap rings used in place of circlips....... Is there something I'm missing or is this a new thing?
